Monkey Camp tour

Near Polonaruwa, the Smithsonian Primate Research Station, also known as “Monkey camp” is a fantastic place to visit. Wolfgang Dittus and his team of biologists will take you on a tour to learn about local primate populations, and follow monkeys on foot in the forest of the Polonnaruwa Nature Sanctuary. You will learn to make Monkey Identification Cards as individual monkeys are easily distinguished by their natural markings, and learn to identify different behaviours and their significance.

Price includes private car with driver and entrance to the Monkey Camp as well as the tour.

Price is valid for a group of 3 people or more. In case the group size is smaller, add 25€ per person (e.g. for a group of 2 people instead of 3, total price per person is 99,90€).
